No tuning, no metal built in...perfect strips are designed to work at any speed between 1.5 to 3.5 mph.  Just insert into one of Hotfish brand Meat heads.  Fits into any bait head designed to accept a herring strip.  

One of our clear Hotfish meat heads is recommended to allow the color and glow illuminate through as one full bait.
